Rob Bonahoom offers a unique approach to lending. His
goal is to help build real wealth for every client he
has the pleasure of serving. His mission statement reads
"We help regular people build wealth through real estate
and effective mortgage planning". Through interviewing
thousands of investors, buying and managing 20 investment
properties of his own, and constant study of real estate,
Rob has created his "Blue Print for Wealth Building
Model" and teaches every client the "8 stages of wealth."
Rob also offers monthly seminars designed to showcase
his proven techniques for growing wealth through real
estate and mortgage practices.
Ten years ago and fresh out of St. Cloud State University with an
accounting degree, Rob became intrigued with real estate. Working
as a controller for a large local restaurant, Rob started planning
his vision to invest in real estate and decided that the best way
to learn would be to become a full-time real estate agent. Much to
the surprise of family and friends, in 1995 Rob left the security
of his salaried position to pursue his dream. After cutting his
teeth as a real estate sales agent for two years working seven
days a week, Rob was exposed to the mortgage side of the business.
The beauty of the mortgage business to Rob was that it allowed him
to focus on his love of numbers, but unlike his accounting job,
the mortgage industry gave him unlimited potential to control his
own destiny both financially and personally.
With a quest to deliver unsurpassed service, in September of 1997,
Rob and his wife Michelle started their own mortgage company. For
seven years, they served thousands of families. Capital Investment
Mortgage Inc, taught them the key principles required to run a
successful mortgage practice. Two years ago, they were blessed
with their first child. At that time, they decided that Michelle
would stay home to raise him. Since then, they have had a second
son. With Michelle having a lot on her plate on the home front,
Rob decided he needed a new partner. Cornerstone became the perfect
fit. Cornerstone offered Rob things that a small company could never
have. Ability to lend in all 50 states, FHA approval and access to
hundreds of lenders. They also fund and underwrite their own loans!
Never again would Rob have to wait on anyone but his own company to
a get loan closed. It was like going from driving a Ford Escort to
a Ferrari! Rob is very excited about how this new partnership will
