Matt
grew up in Bloomington MN and has lived and enjoyed
living in the Twin Cities all his life. After graduating
from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with
Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Statistics
he worked in the Investment Management and Financial
Services industries until 1997. In those roles he gained
real life knowledge of and experience with the
corporate, municipal and mortgage backed bond markets.
Always having an interest in the real estate market and
in remodeling and rehabbing projects he obtained his
real estate salesperson license in 1997. In 2000, Matt
obtained his real estate broker license and started his
own brokerage. Realizing a need to expand and still
compete with the larger brokerages he instead decided to
join RE/MAX as a Managing Broker for the Lakeville, MN
office in March 2003 and served in that role until June
2007. He broke from that role to serve his clients more
efficiently.
Throughout his real estate career Matt has gained
knowledge of and experience in both the residential and
commercial real estate markets representing buyers and
sellers of principal residences and investment
properties. Additionally he has owned and currently owns
many properties as an owner occupant and as investment
property.
