Jake comes from farming roots in southern Minnesota where he learned the value of owning land and hard work at a very young age. After college he and his wife Tara (also an agent) returned home to the Twin Cities area. They now live in the city of Minneapolis with a house full of sons. Early in his real estate career Jake began investing in rental properties and is passionate about helping others build their real estate portfolio. Jake has used his own experiences with buy-fix-sell, buy-and-hold and development to create a portfolio growth plan which takes his clients from the basics of first time home ownership into multifamily rental and on to commercial properties and development. He is an active member of the US Green Building Council and a true junkie for building science.
